I needed this. My list is growing slowly and I wondered if there are hacks. But I'd rather focus on my audience and the joy it gives.

Great post! Oof those expectations really are a doozy for so many writers.

I think it boils down to doing it because you love doing it and truly enjoy it - if it’s starting to deflate you, that’s a sign to regroup.
