About Me
I am Maxim, a writer, book author, and entrepreneur.
I help you write and make money online.
I had a dream to write a book when I was a child.
I wrote short fantasy stories for fun.
But being a book author seemed to be too far away from the real world.
I studied well and graduated from one of the top universities in my country.
When I was 20, my dream of writing a book didn’t look like a promising way to start my adulthood.
I was young and, like many young people, not patient enough and ready for the long-term game.
I didn’t see a value in continuing to write, although I liked it a lot. Instead of being patient and letting it grow, I chose what seemed to be a faster and clearer path.
I focused on building my corporate career.
My career developed rapidly. I worked at one of the Big4 consulting companies and a few large retail businesses. I made my way to leadership roles.
15 years have passed since my first day at the corporate job.
I enjoyed many things working for corporations. Fantastic people I met, great leaders I worked with, challenging projects we delivered. Exciting journey of personal and professional growth.
However, during this time, I discovered three things important to me.
I want to write.
You can’t rely only on your 9-5 job.
My dream of writing a book is still with me after 15 years.
I believe that everyone who works a 9-5 job and cares about their future should become an online creator alongside work. Because that’s the future. And becoming an online writer is your best choice.
It’s as obvious as the fact that you need to invest to become wealthy.
I began to write online at the age of 35 on Medium in 2023.
Like most new writers, I started with 0 experience, 0 followers, and $0 income from writing. My first published article got 6 views and 3 reads. That’s how you start.
Same as many people who work a busy 9-5 job and write online alongside it, I faced a few challenges:
Burnout
Inconsistency
Time constraints
Imposter syndrome
Lack of writing skills
Missing focus and motivation
Sales and marketing challenges
It took me 2 years to overcome these challenges. It was hard. I know how frustrating it can be when you feel stuck, invisible, or unsure that you are able to make your writing work.
Today, I have 5,000 followers across all platforms.
I get up to 3,000 views and 2,000 reads per article.
My first book sells on Amazon. I published it in June 2025. The dream came true!
I make $1,000/month writing.
And that’s just the beginning.
Now, I share what worked for me. Because I know that writing is tough.
